About Course
The AMBA AHB (Advanced High-performance Bus) protocol has been a foundational on-chip communication protocol in ARM-based SoCs and continues to be widely used in microcontrollers, embedded systems, and subsystem-level interconnect architectures. A strong understanding of AHB is essential for both RTL Design and Verification engineers working on modern semiconductor projects.
Participants will gain insight into AHB architecture, transfers, arbitration mechanisms, burst operations, response handling, exclusive transfers, atomicity concepts, and protocol timing behavior. The course then progresses into UVC development, where learners will understand how reusable verification components are architected, implemented, integrated, and validated using industry-standard verification methodologies.
By the end of the course, participants will possess a strong foundation in AHB protocol concepts and the practical knowledge needed to contribute to protocol verification, IP verification, and SoC-level verification projects with confidence.
